McCain Palin = Dazed and Confused

Friday, September 12th, 2008

While the media has been primarily focused of late on how grossly unprepared Sarah Palin is to be President, (doesn’t even know what the Bush Doctrine is) McCain John McCain, likewise hasn’t troubled himself to learn anything about his running mate.

Recently the 72 year old senator sat down for an interview via satellite with local Portland Maine TV reporter Rob Caldwell. Normally big time pols like to sit with the local reporters because the reporters are star struck and ask nothing but softball questions. Too bad nobody told Rob Caldwell that, because Caldwell nailed McCain on his judgment in selecting Palin and her truly dazzling lack of qualification.

Caldwell comes out swinging, his very first question asks McCain why Palin “can’t take any questions?” but the interview get’s much tougher when McCain is asked about his number one issue, the fight against Islamic Extremism.

Caldwell: “How is she (Palin) qualified to be your partner to… to take on this issue of Islamic Extremism:”

McCain: “Well obviously the economy is also a major challenge.”

Caldwell: “No, I’m using your words, you had said this summer the number one challenge of our time is Islamic Extremists.”

McCain: “I said the greatest challege of our time is national security threats, and I’ve also said jobs and the economy are the number one issue facing America so but the point is Gov. Palin was right on the issues. … I’m sure she has the necessary experience and judgment to lead this country and I think the American people will agree with her as well.”

Caldwell: “Well you say you’re sure she has the experience, but again I’m just asking for an example, what experience does she have in the field of national security?”

McCain: “Energy.”

McCain goes on to say that Sarah Palin “knows more about energy than almost anybody else in the United States of Amercia.” If that’s true I’d sure like to ask her one question:

BubbleMixx: Governor Palin, there has been a little research in Muon Catalyzed Fusion but it has not been considered a very plausible possibility for commercial fusion power. Do you think the Muon Catalyzed Fusion is a credible possibility? Do you think that with other technologies, it could be the way for us to obtain commercial fusion power? If so, why do you think that Muon Catalyzed Fusion has not been researched further?

Gov. Palin, feel free to leave your answer in the comments section.
