Palin Tosses Own Daughter Under Bus

The McCain Palin campaign is responding at last to the rumors that Alaskan governor Sarah Palin, faked her fifth pregnancy to cover up the fact that it was actually her 16 year old daughter that was with child. In the photo above taken shortly before Palin announced she was 7 months along, you can see she does not appear to be pregnant.

The McCain/Palin campaign have struck back at the rumors by throwing Palin’s now 17 year old daughter under the wheels of the so-called Straight Talk Express. Palin has announced that the teenager is in fact now pregnant, plans to keep the child, and marry the Papa. (Source)

Palin makes this announcement to rebut the rumors of her cover up, but in fact all this does is show that she can’t/won’t cover up this latest pregnancy, not that she didn’t cover one up before. For his part McCain claims that he knew Palin’s teenage daughter had a bun in the oven, but didn’t feel it disqualified her in any way.

So apparently McCain’s ok with pre-marital teenage sex, and pregnancy, as long as the teens parents are right wing nut jobs. How convenient.
